Headlines for 07/08/2008
Nickelback have signed a new three album deal with the possibility of a fourth with Live Nation. The deal also covers the bands next three tours, merchandising and other sponsorship agreements. According to Reuters the deal is worth between $50 and $70 million. The band owes Roadrunner Records two more albums under their current contract and will begin releasing music via Live Nation once those are delivered.

Johnny Schou 1986-2008
Tickle Me Pink bassist Johnny Schou was found dead yeterday morning at home in Colorado. The quartet from Fort Collins was to celebrate the release of their debut album with an in-store appearance in Denver yesterday. Further information regarding the band's plans, and dates that have been previously announced, will be forthcoming in due time. Johnny Schou was 22 years-old.
