NR: How has the Take Action tour been going for you guys?

Matt: It's been terrific. It's been sold out everynight except for one and we have been on it for a couple of weeks now. It's probably been better than any other tour we have been on.

Dave: It's been the best tour we have done in a long time.

NR: Do you like the charity for the tour, Take Action?

Matt: Being able to contribute to a great cause while on tour is great. It's really good to be on a tour with a sponsor like Take Action or even if it wasn't for a charity to have a sponsor makes the tour a lot bigger and that is nice. And since it is for a positive thing like Take Action that is really important is a great bonus.

NR: In November you re-released your CD "The Question." How did that come about?

Matt: We have been wanting to make a DVD for awhile now. An idea we had was to do a re-release with the DVD and we wanted to record some acoustic stuff to throw on it as well.

NR: With this DVD I thought your's stepped up the bar on DVD's. Did you plan on it being that way?

Matt: We wanted to make it hard on other bands. No, we just had the stuff to do it. It really wasn't that hard to do. We thought maybe the more stuff we put on it we thought it might be better and maybe sell better. We thought maybe people would like it more than just some footage of us hanging out or just some old music that wasn't that good. So we just spent some time on it. This was something we wanted to do. We were able to put it on re-release which is better than them wanting us to re-release it and trying to figure out what to put on it.

NR: That's one of the best DVD's I've picked up this year.
Dave: Thank You.

NR: You guys were signed before Myspace.com was the way to get signed. Now bands are getting signed because of the amount of friends they have or the amount of comments they get. How do you feel about this?

Matt: We like to get comments about how we are good looking and stuff, but yea, we got signed before Myspace.com was around. It's always been the same though. There was MP3.com but they are out of business now. We use to check and see how we were on the charts and how many people listened to it that day. It was kind of like purevolume.com That use to be the benchmark, like how many people could find you and listen to you a day. Now it's how many friends do you have. Myspace.com is a lot bigger and probably more effective. There has always been something. It's just another thing for labels to be able to measure a band by so they don't have to take so much of a risk on an unknown band. It gives them a better idea of who might be able to be popular with the right push.

NR: You guys put out the acoustic track for "Walls" on the re-release, which is not a song you could necessarily hear working that way. Was there any challenge with putting it out that way?

Matt: I thought it was pretty easy. The heavy stuff and the screaming comes last, normally just to give it some extra edge. The screaming in that song we wrote particularly, which happened to probably become one of our most popular songs, we wrote it in the studio while we were recording it. The song really existed by itself first. So to do it acoustically wasn't hard at all.

NR: A lot of people think the idea behind the "Studying Politics" video was Rocky. What was the inspiration for that video?

Matt: Rocky.
Dave: Yea, Rocky.

NR: What is next for you guys after this tour?

Matt: We will be making another album. We are going into the studio in April and May and the new album should be out in September.
